Our passion is to encounter the presence and power of God.

How to Build the House of God on the Right Foundations.

We must renew our commitment to Jesus as our Lord. Mt. 7:24
If He’s not the Lord of ALL, then He is not the Lord at all.
He is the only one qualified to rule our lives and choices.

We must align ourselves with God’s appointed leaders. 1 Cor.3:10-17
We have mistakenly built the Church on Pastors and Teachers.
God is restoring apostolic and prophetic ministry in our day.

We must forsake our ideas and build a community in which God dwells.
Let’s return to the foundation of Lordship, Presence and Power.
Let’s prioritize God’s purpose for the church and build with Him.

Racial Reconciliation and Inheritance in Christ

The children of Abraham were set aside to bring Messiah.
The Jews were heirs of promises not given to other races.

Now, both Jew and Gentile can partake of the promises of God. 14-16
Jesus is the Jewish Messiah and the Gentile’s Savior.
In Jesus, the separation is removed and inheritance is shared.
He reconciles God to Humanity, Man to Woman, Race to Race

The Spirit has made us sons and daughters of One Father. 17-18
We are all granted access to forgiveness through faith.
We are all born again and receive the Spirit of Adoption.
We all become co-heirs with Jesus and with one another.

How to Experience the Blessings of Reconciliation in This Life.

We need to embrace God’s heart for the Jewish People. Ro.10:1-4
This doesn’t mean we should endorse every policy of Israel.
Yet, we must avoid the errors of “Replacement Theology”
God’s covenant promises are enduring in spite of us. 12:29

Let’s embrace our brethren of every tongue, tribe and nation.
There’s been a wonderful work of reconciliation in the Church.
We have a long way to go before it’s on earth as in heaven.

Let’s praise God for giving us unlimited heavenly blessings.
God’s favor and blessing lifts us above our natural identity.
IN CHRIST we gain altitude, we rise above the pain of the past.
We rise above the trials and temptations of this life.
We lay hold of heavenly blessing and bring them to earth.
We enjoy these blessings and bring transformation to the world.

Let’s align ourselves with God’s good will in choosing us.
God is the one who chose to do this apart from us. Past tense.
IN CHRIST he chose us from eternity, purchased us at the cross.
His end result is to make us holy through the power of Love
He also wants to make us blameless as we receive His Love.
He is the Author and Finisher of this process and will do it.

Let’s receive His love and favor that are found in Jesus.
God Has confirmed His Love by making us part of His Family.
IN CHRIST we have been adopted and placed in His Home.
As adopted children, we are fully accepted and renamed.
We have been welcomed into the Family Kingdom Business.
As we fulfill this calling, we bring pleasure to the heart of God.

Paul was an extraordinary apostle who imparted his DNA.
His leadership team were both friends and followers.

We must develop a devoted and dynamic Large Group Community.vs.20
Paul’s training center galvanized vision, values and identity.
Despite difficulties, the Gospel became virulent and epidemic.

Dynamic Large Community depends on Small Group Community.
Small groups are where each member is loved and activated.
Small groups and large groups work together for transformation.

Three Questions Presented by the Work of God in Ephesus. Acts 19

Do you want religion or do you want a relationship? Acts 19:1-7
The baptism of John was great but nothing compared to the Spirit.
We have the presence of the Spirit to change us and guide us.
Our highest priority is to pursue God’s Power and Presence.

Do you want to GO to Church or do you want to BE the Church? Vs.8-10
Many reduce church to a set of obligations or consumer goals.
Paul led the true disciples out to call forth their destinies in Christ.
Our second priority is to mentor people into their ministries.

Do you want a TRUCE or do you want TRANSFORMATION? Vs.9-12
Paul turned church into a Training Center for Transformation.
As a result, everyone in their region heard the Gospel of Jesus.
We are called to bring Transformation through Kingdom Initiatives.

How to Discover and Embrace the Keys of Ephesus.

Gratefulness: We rejoice for who we are in Christ
We feed ourselves on what God is doing in and through us.
We feed on the tree of life, not the knowledge of good and evil.

Faithfulness: We align ourselves with who Christ is in us
Becoming doers, not hearers only. Taking risks, Doing the stuff.
Pray and obey. God has filled us so he can use us for His glory.

Fruitfulness: We align ourselves with the Mission of Christ in the world.
Acts 10:38 – Jesus went about doing good and healing all..
May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering.

We often forget that this world is a concentration camp.

Jesus came to SAVE His people from their sins: SOZO
He saves us from the Penalty and Power of sin.
Sozo or Save: To make whole, heal, rescue…
To deliver us from the concentration camp of the world

Jesus invaded to bring relief to all in every way. Luke 4:16-21
Good news to the poor: The alleviation of poverty.
Jesus wants to transform our lifestyles. 2 Cor. 8:9
Healing the brokenhearted: God transforms our emotions.
Inner wounds and disappointments. 2 Cor.1:3-4
Liberating the captives: He destroys spiritual strongholds.
Demonically empowered thoughts. 2 Cor.10:4
Restoring the blind: God gives us His perspective on life.
He heals Spiritual and physical blindness. 2 Pet. 1:9
Freedom to the oppressed: He removes oppressive forces.
Depression and fear can be broken off our live.
Proclaiming God’s favor: God is in a good mood.
The prodigal son experienced this kind of SOZO.

III. How to Continue the Christmas Invasion in Your World,

Don’t become an unintentional collaborator with demonic forces.
Many are selling their birthright for material success.
Many are grieving the Holy Spirit by polluting their hearts.

Divest from this world and invest in the Kingdom of God.
God has invested in you so that you can transform the world.
Let’s realign our lives around the one who SAVES from sin.

One person who lives out a commitment to Jesus can do much.
Oscar Schindler was able to save 1100 Jews from death.
His only regret is that he didn’t do more with what he had.

JESUS: The Government shall be upon His shoulders.
Before the invasion we were under the dominion of darkness.
God became flesh and dwelt among us. Jn 1:14, Ph. 2:5-11
Now, every knee will bow and every tongue confess…

JESUS: Name above all names. His name shall be called…
Wonderful, Counselor: Jesus is here to help humanity.
Mighty God, Everlasting Father: Jesus is God
Prince of Peace: He will destroy evil and restore good.

JESUS: His government will continue to increase forever. Vs.7
The Davidic kingdom increased and filled the Promised Land.
In two thousand years the Gospel of the Kingdom has spread
God’s purpose is for every tongue, tribe and kindred.

How to Carry On the Invasion of Jesus Throughout the Earth.

This invasion is communicated from heart to heart: Individually – Who GOVERNS YOU?
We are called to make disciples: New Kingdom citizens.
Every government has a goal, ours is to be just like Jesus.
We become like Him as our intimacy gives birth to obedience.

This invasion is to begin to overtake the ruling forces of this world. WHO GOVERNS THE WORLD?
We are called to make disciples of all nations: ‘people groups’
The church has abdicated and others are filling the void.
Through strategic prayer and marketplace ministry we invade.

This invasion must first be fulfilled within the Body of Christ. Corporately. WHO GOVERNS THE CHURCH?
Western Churchianity is not yet fully submitted to God’s Kingdom.
As a church, we are coming into alignment with the greater Body.
We are also making adjustments so we can facilitate the invasion.

Kingdom Culture - The Heart of Community

I. Illustrating the Source of Healthy Community is in the Heart.
A well must be guarded to keep the water pure. Pr.4:23
The human heart is like a well that can become polluted.
The heart of our community is only as pure as each heart.

II. Understanding the Role of the Heart in Kingdom Culture.

Joy is the state of an unpolluted heart in the Kingdom. Phil.4:4
Joy and happiness are different: happiness is conditional
Joy flows from living in the awareness of a superior reality.
Joy gives birth to conduct that is gracious to others. Vs.5

Peace is the experience of the God-focused Heart. Phil. 4:6-8
Jesus cautioned us against anxiety. He gave us His peace
The antidote to anxiety is prayer bathed in thanksgiving.
Once we’ve “prayed through”, peace fills our hearts.

Righteousness is the stonewall around our heart-well. Ph.4:
Truth, Honor, Justice and Purity are some of the stones.
Loveliness, Good news, Virtue and Praise are others.
True Community comes from righteous hearts. Ro. 14:17

III. How to Build Kingdom Culture From the Heart. Gal. 6:7-9

If we plant unrighteous seed we reap an unrighteous harvest.
We deceive ourselves to think there’s no consequence.
If we turn to Him, he can change our harvests into good.

If we plant the seed of the Spirit we will reap Kingdom life.
It is a deception to think our efforts in God are in vain.
God is Good and He is in a good mood. He loves you.

If we persevere in the midst of challenges we will prevail.
The worldly, demonic obstacles cannot overcome God.
The Victory of Jesus on the Cross guarantees our victory.

Kingdom Culture - A Salad of Spiritual Nourishment

I. Illustrating the Nourishing Power of Spiritual Community.
There are certain nutrients that come only from fellowship.
Yet most people in the Church are living on Junk Food.
We grow from milk to solid food and beyond. Heb.5:12

II. Understanding the Spiritual Nourishment Found in Fellowship.

Ingredient One: Let Us draw near to God in faith. Heb. 10:19-22
Jesus has opened a new and living way to approach God.
We bypass religious ritual and come boldly into His presence.
We partake of the nutrient of corporate worship and ministry.

Ingredient Two: Let Us hold fast the confession of Hope. Vs. 23
Hopelessness and “hope deferred” robs health from the Body.
A culture of hope fortifies our spiritual immunity to illness.
We must feed ourselves on the Goodness of God. Phil.4:8

Ingredient Three: Let us gather together to stir each other. Vs. 24-25
God has made us interdependent to sharpen each other’s faith.
The nutrient of fellowship keeps us sharp and effective. Pr.27:17
But we must gather “Publicly and House-to-house. Acts.20:20

III. How to Bring Out the Best in One Another When We Gather.

We must periodically realign ourselves with the Word of God.
We are constantly bombarded with ideas that weaken us.
We must stand against isolation, alienation and loneliness.

We must periodically recommit to Building the Body in Community.
We need each other and are dependent on Body-Life.
It costs us to fellowship but it costs way more not to.

We are in the process of strengthening our gatherings.
The Quality of our Sunday Celebration continues to grow.
We are meeting to strengthen our small groups as well.

Kingdom Culture - The Power of One

I. Illustrating the Power of One Person in Affecting Culture.
M.Gladwell’s Tipping Point illustrates the power of one.
Change is not a matter of convincing a majority.
Cultural transformation is a result of the “potent few”.

II. Understanding the Power of One or a Few to Bring Change.

David was a man who catalyzed Kingdom Culture in his day.
He was chosen by God while yet young. 1Sam.16:1,11-13
He defeated Goliath and turned the battle. 17:45-51
David power came from his secret history. 17:34-37

David became persecuted by Saul as a prototype. 1Sam.18:6-10
Saul was a man of weak character and insecurity.
Fear made his primary concern the preservation of status quo.
The Status Quo will always seek to kill the catalyst of change.

David reveals his character in his darkest moment. 1Sam.30:1-6
David was accused, hunted, rejected, attacked and robbed.
Now his own army was threatening to stone him to death.
David strengthened himself in the Lord and won the victory.

III. How to Bring About Kingdom Transformation in this World.

Our Vision of the Kingdom must be kept unpolluted and undiluted.
Self-pity, pride and discouragement will pollute your vision.
Easier goals and pleasures will dilute your vision.

We must remember that transformation begins with a minority.
One person with God is a majority: Then the cohesive core.
The potency of the virus is the strength of the epidemic.

We must learn to strengthen ourselves in the Lord. Hab. 3:17-19
Transformation is painstaking work full of challenges.
We need to learn to feed ourselves on the goodness of God.

Kingdom Culture - A Culture of Honor

My dream about the corruption of authority.
One of the enemy’s purposes is to undermine honor.
The reason for this is that honor is a source of life.

II. Understanding the Power of a Culture of Honor.

We were created to Honor God but we chose to dishonor. Gen.
Our disobedience released death upon the earth. Gen.3:1-5
Dishonor soon spread to dishonoring parents, brothers etc.
How has honor and dishonor affected your life in Christ?

God’s redemptive plan was based on the restoration of Honor.
The Ten Commandments are lessons on Honor. De.5:6
The Fifth Command is to honor parents releasing life. 16
Paul emphasizes the power of the promise. 1Tim.5:177

Jesus connects Honor and Life in His Teachings. John 5.
If we honor the Son we honor the Father. Vs.22-23

The forces of evil are at work and their weapon is deception.
We must be on guard because even the best can be deceived.
We must rise up like Puddleglum, to overcome the lie.

II. Understanding the Power We Have to Overcome the Evil One.

The enemy uses deception to attack Jesus. Luke 4:1-13
He uses the same fiery darts against us. Eph. 6:10-16
He is pictured as a roaring lion on the prowl. 1 Pet. 5:8
If we aren’t careful, we can be taken captive. 2 Tim. 2:26

Jesus countered the enemy’s deception with Truth. Lu. 4:1-13
Jesus called the enemy the Father of Lies. John 8:44
Jesus gives us the Truth that makes us free. Jn. 8:32
Jesus had no vulnerability to the lies of the enemy. Jn.14:30

Jesus has given us the power to overcome the enemy. Luke 10

III. How to Cultivate a Culture of Spiritual Victory in our Community.

We must embrace the Cross on a continuous basis. John.6:53-59
Jesus calls us to be CONSUMERS of His flesh and blood,
Rather than consumers of the deceptions of darkness.

We must move beyond the offenses that come in life. Jo. 6:60-66
Deception almost always begins at the point of offense.
We must maintain an unoffendable heart toward Jesus.

Let’s keep pursuing deeper relationship with Him. Vs. 67-71
As we partake of the Blood of Jesus, we remove the guilt.
As we partake of the Body of Christ, we break the spell.

Hope is the positive expectation of future good. Heb.11:1
Hope is different than faith, hype, resignation, etc.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick. Pr.13:12

II. Understanding the Power of Hope in Building Kingdom Culture.

Hope is an anchor that binds us to God’s Promises. Heb.6:13-20
Abraham was given two promises that governed his life.
He waited 27 years for the promise and then some more…
He anchored himself in the trustworthiness of God.

Most believers are infected with a hopeless heart sickness.
Frustrated hope will lead to hype, resignation or cynicism.
But a desire fulfilled is a tree of life. Pr.13:12
We must learn to manage hope and disappointment.

We are prisoners of Hope, captured by the God of Hope. Zec.9:11
We are unable to despair because God is Good.
At the same time we are unable to control outcomes.
So we anchor ourselves and wait upon the Lord.

III. How to Cultivate a Culture of Hope at Promised Land. Rom.5:1-5

We are called to REJOICE in the hope of the Glory of God.
We are a community with high hopes and great expectations.
We are also placed in one of the most challenging cities.
Joy is both a spontaneous response and a spiritual discipline.

We are called to rejoice in the inner work that hope accomplishes.
Glory in tribulation, which brings perseverance and character.
The net result is the increase of hope and love among us.
Contentment is the consolation prize of deferred hope…

We need to learn to call things that are not as if they were. Ro.4:16-18
Abraham learned to align his heart and his confession with hope.
A little rudder (the tongue) can turn about a huge ship.
Let’s align our speech with God’s promise for our church and city.

We must believe God exists and the He rewards.

II. Understanding the Role of Faith in Fostering Kingdom Culture.

By Faith we enter into the Kingdom and the Kings community
By grace through faith we receive the gift of salvation. Eph. 2:8
We receive our calling and destiny by the same means. Vs.10
We are united in a family by the exact same faith. Vs.19-22

By Faith we become a temple for the presence and power of God.
Prayer and worship are faith activities that enthrone God.
As we dwell in the presence of God we are transformed.
As God dwells among us, we enter the realm of the impossible.

By Faith we are empowered to bring transformation to the world.
Our tendency is to make a religion we can control. Gal. 3:1
God is released to move among us through faith. Vs.2-5
The miracles of God empower us to change the world.

III. How to Cultivate a Culture of Faith at Promised Land.

We must first confront the greatest enemy of faith – Memory.
Forgetting those things which are behind...Phil. 3:13-14
Be transformed by the re-NEW-ing of your mind. Rom.12:2

We must receive and share the Word of God intentionally.
Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word. Rom.10:17
The Word is alive and powerful, it will not return void. Heb.4:12

We must celebrate the wonderful things God is doing among us.
The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.
We must process our disappointments in a FAITH-FULL way!

He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides. In me, You are pruned because of the word I have spoken to you. Tares are bastard wheat. Tares to not receive the hard word. They do not receive the word of righteousness that catalyzes change. The key to abiding is you must drink my blood and my flesh and not leave.

Vs. 67, You have the words of everlasting life. We have come to believe…..

Faith is the syrophonecian woman who eats the crumbs. Embracing the word I do not understand. The life I cant control. There’s no way jesus is going to let us off the hook with a few crumbs and grape juice.

That which I cannot control and could never explain, I say YES.

This is what the king has been building since day one.

I pursue the life of love.

The Body and Blood are the hub of God’s Redemptive Plan.
The Purpose of His death was the restoration of creation.
Communion is a covenant that aligns us and enlists us.

Communion shows our commitment to Jesus, His Plan, His People.
Unworthy participation neglects one of these commitments.
Unworthy participations cuts us from the Grace of the Body.
Unworthy participation has stalled the move of God in our day.

III. How to Rightly Discern the Body of Christ Universal and Local.

Let’s RE-THINK the identity and purpose of Church: Universal and Local:
A Royal Priesthood of worship, prayer and sacrifices. 1 Pet. 2:9
God’s general purpose is made specific in our church and city.
Cultivate a passion for the pursuit of God’s Presence and Power.

Let’s RE-ALIGN our lives to God’s Purpose in His people.
We are a community of new creatures in Christ. 2 Cor.5:17
We need to endeavor to keep unity while celebrating diversity.
Cultivate a community that incubates personal destinies in Christ.

Let’s RE-ENLIST as servant soldiers in God’s Redemptive Plan. Vs.15
God has hand picked each one of us and placed us in His Plan.
We must be about our Father’s business or we are AWOL
Cultivate a center that sends and supports Kingdom purposes.

Our History: God has used our church in unique ways in the past.
We have experienced seasons of blessing and fruitfulness
We have been challenged by difficulties and spiritual warfare.

Our Identity: God is clarifying His Calling on our community.
We value the pursuit of the presence and power of God.
We value the fruitfulness and fulfillment of the Body of Christ.
We value the power and potential of regional Kingdom Initiatives.

Our Destiny: God wants us to build a Kingdom Culture that facilitates:
Personal Transformation: equipping and empowering people.
Regional Revival: Touching people and principalities in God.
Global Impact: Sending out teams that will bless other regions.
