Racial Reconciliation and Inheritance in Christ

Download and Listen.

Illustrating the Importance of Racial Reconciliation in the Earth.
Obama’s recent troubles remind us that race still matters.
Racial problems began when God confused the tongues.
Reconciliation began with a race that would bless the races.
.
Understanding God’s Welcome to Every Tongue and Tribe. Eph.2:11
.
Originally, the nations were not partakers of Israel’s inheritance. 11-13
The children of Abraham were set aside to bring Messiah.
The Jews were heirs of promises not given to other races.
The blood of Jesus brings all nations into God’s Blessing

Now, both Jew and Gentile can partake of the promises of God. 14-16
Jesus is the Jewish Messiah and the Gentile’s Savior.
In Jesus, the separation is removed and inheritance is shared.
He reconciles God to Humanity, Man to Woman, Race to Race

The Spirit has made us sons and daughters of One Father. 17-18
We are all granted access to forgiveness through faith.
We are all born again and receive the Spirit of Adoption.
We all become co-heirs with Jesus and with one another.

How to Experience the Blessings of Reconciliation in This Life.

We need to embrace God’s heart for the Jewish People. Ro.10:1-4
This doesn’t mean we should endorse every policy of Israel.
Yet, we must avoid the errors of “Replacement Theology”
God’s covenant promises are enduring in spite of us. 12:29

Let’s embrace our brethren of every tongue, tribe and nation.
There’s been a wonderful work of reconciliation in the Church.
We have a long way to go before it’s on earth as in heaven.

Enthroned with Him in Heavenly Places

Audio Issues have so far prevented us from posting a recording of this teaching.

Illustrating the Importance of a Dramatic Change of Fortune.
Our hearts are moved by the “Rags to Riches” Stories.
This story fits the deep Kingdom Longing of humanity.
Jesus saved us from the Gutter-most to the Uttermost

Understanding Our Rags to Riches Story in Christ. Eph.2:1-7

Our new identity shines in comparison to our old one.
We were dead in our sinful, self-centered lifestyles.
We were hopelessly bound this world’s structures.
We were unknowing puppets of the prince of darkness.

Our old identity was rooted in a corrupt and fallen nature.
We were ruled by our physical appetites and desires.
We were driven by “fleshly” thinking based in falsehood.
Our destructive nature provoked anger in God’s Heart.

Yet God displayed His great love by rescuing us from ourselves.
God brought us from wrath to mercy; from death to life.
God raised us from an earthly to heavenly perspective.
He has enthroned us with Jesus both now and forever.

How to Move from Rags to Riches and Reign with Christ. Gen

Joseph embraced God’s promise despite evidence to the contrary
Although forgotten, he kept hope, and prepared himself…
Are you using your trials to prepare yourself to rule?

Joseph seized the opportunity and embraced new responsibilities.
God has freed from the dungeon of slavery to rule with him.
Are you maximizing opportunities to serve in God’s Kingdom?

Joseph received his new authority and acted like a King
A good leader provides, protects, guides and governs.
Are you abdicating or embracing the domain God has given?

Righteousness as filthy RAGS.
Collosians 3:1-3 If you then be risen with Christ.

* 1.
* As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,

* 2.
* in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

* 3.
* All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.

* 4.
* But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

* 5.
* made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved.

* 6.
* And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

* 7.
* in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
